My ds2 did this at 7 months. They transferred him to a bigger hospital thinking he had a bowel blockage, which he didn't. It took me about 5 bouts to figure out it was a particular baby food that was giving him severe stomach pain.

He usually naps 3 times a day between 1-2 hours long. But he's still up every 2/3 hours at night ?

I have no idea how to get him sleeping longer. ?

He's overtired. 1 hour nap for a 6 month old is no where near enough. That's why he is waking up distressed in the night. Sleep promotes sleep! At 6 months, 2-3 naps totalling 2-3 hours plus 12 hours overnight is ideal :)

We stripped him off when we took his temp. I didn't really look but didn't notice anything. I will definitely try the bath next time (although hopefully there is no next time)

I'm now actually wondering if his eczema is starting to flare up again. I've started to noticed during the day when he's lying there he'll wiggle his butt/back, I just thought he was playing but now I'm wondering if he's itchy ??

Possibly just that he's overtired, sometimes that's all it takes, and if you've just moved that's going to upset his routine too. DD has had runs of the same thing, and it usually coincides with the wonder weeks leaps so that's another possibility.

Oh sorry! He's 6 months. He doesn't seem to be showing any other signs of teething, but who knows what's happening under those gums!

His behaviour is totally normal, no change at all, except these 2 screaming episodes.

Has he cut any teeth yet? My dd has just started doing this I am sure she must be about to cut her first tooth but following to see what the other mumma's think :)

How old is he? Could he be teething?
