Haha @ bashy, me & OH we're discussing food yesterday, this baby (38weeks) would appear to be of a similar size to our first & we were at sushi train for dinner. He proceeded to try & imagine how much sushi two big boys, plus him & me would cost, & how much food is going to cost us in general. Our son is 2 in 4 odd weeks, loves sushi & will eat one or two adult sized plates at hero sushi. OH can do about 8-10 & me about 5, haha three men... I said there will be no more sushi train for us lol..
We will have to live off spag Bol!
My little dude gets those footy player comments & front rower comments.. He's not got a single roll or chub about him, but he's the height & weight of the average 3 year old & not even two.. I try to tell people, come on, he was born the size of a 6-8 week old, he's a big boy, he's never been a chubba, just all round a big baby, teeny tiny to me, but I knew he was bigger than the average..
I'm with sjkelly, my 12 month old weighed in at a hefty 13kgs. His 3 yo brother weighed 15kgs at that time so made him look even plumper.
I get sick of answering the never ending "how much do you feed that kid?!" Or "breeding up a front rower?" And the disbelief when asked how old he is when I say 12 months.
I mean he's a bottomless pit who is going to cost me a small fortune in groceries but that's none of their business ?
A lot of people think my boys are younger too. On the weekend they played with a little boy who was 13 months old (they are 16 months) and he was the same size. I sometimes just say they were born small and are still catching up.
@sjkelly, we have a nephew who is huge and it's true. Everyone expected him to behave like a 4 year old when he was only 2. It was really hard for him and his mom. The MCHN made the most stupid comment 'he's above the 100th percentile' and indicated something wasn't right. He's turned 3 now and fits better into his age group.
How can a baby 'look' hungry!? ? people really are ridiculous!
We had Harper (9 weeks) in a pair of overalls on the weekend that we 000. I remember Holly wearing them when we were on holidays when she was 9 months old haha
I don't understand how Holly is so small. My husband's side are all tall (girls are all over 5'7) and my mums side aren't short. Also no one is super skinny. We all have a big of meat - except my husband really.
I feel like I could have written exactly the same post!! My dd is tiny but we are both small so she will never be a giant, she is 13 months old and still in 00. It really gives me the s*** s when people comment on her size!! They have ever since she was born it's so fricken annoying! I hear ya sista!!!!
My sister was teeny tiny and walked at 9 months. She was still in 000. It completely freaked people out.
My son, on the other hand, is big. People have started giving me that look when I breastfeed in public. They are shocked when he crawls, not walks. He's only 11 months but looks easily 2.
Same here! I always get omg she's so small/petite! She walked the week before her first birthday and I remember mums at playgroup being shocked because they all thought she was 7mths old! People always tell me she's chatty for her age and I'm like she's 15mths old!
She does get heaps of wear out of her clothes!
Noah has always been below the 5th percentile, eek.
That's fine by me, he can stay little! I love it ?
Jenifa, that is so true! Hahah.
Well, as much as it sucks, I'm glad I'm not alone lol
I so feel you, many times I wanna yell those comments off, my almost 4yo dd looks like a 2.5yo (most of her friends/ cousins are taller), she's healthy, normal toddler, smart etc but happen to inherit my 5ft petite family genes. Dh is 5ft10 and his family are tall.
So hoping she'll have a growth spurt soon!!
? yeah, it's like ..I'm pretty sure I remember the day I birthed my child, lol.

Too small for 17w3d? FTM

6 Months with a small baby bump !!! Who else is 6 months and have a small baby bump
Who else has a small baby bump at 7 months?
The real question today is will there be dick pics and how small will the willy be?
Haha sj! Weirdly our oldest is a lanky skinny little thing who doesn't eat very much so it's no wonder there's only a kg between them now.
Funnily enough our "front rower" was only 7pd born. He just loves to eat hahaha
