Winning the lottery! ???

I would try to find them to give them a share (at least half)...If I cant find them at all I will use the share that I would have given them and put it towards a charity or invest it into something that represnts how the stranger and I connected.

I'm sure that the person would try to find you.

But really for the first year you will be inundated with charities and the likes. I would go underground.

Find them and give it to them! Being greedy leads to a sad, sad life. Who knows, maybe they won't take the ticket back or maybe they'll share the winnings. Either way I feel like the right thing to do is give it back

This is why I don't put lotto tickets or scratch cards in birthday or Xmas cards like some people I know do. I can imagine a friend phoning me telling me they've won millions and me having to pretend I'm thrilled I helped them lol.

I wouldn't take the ticket in the first place.

Ignorance is bliss. I would have never known if that person won or not and I wouldn't have to deal with the guilt/drama that comes from owning a winning lottery ticket.
