I went to Sandals Royal.Carribean in Montego Bay Jamaica. It was the best week of my life (besides the week I brought my little home) the people are so sweet, the accommodations were amazing and the entertainment was incredible! There was an English pub, a French restaurant, a Thai restaurant, pizza bar, Jerk Hut, and night time buffets of food. There was even a chocolate party one night! I went to the salon and the girls there pampered me, our pool boy picked flowers for my hair everyday (he asked my husbands permission lol) and the excursions were so much fun too! The only downside was a once or twice a day an airplane would fly over head and it was kind of loud. Didn't even notice it by the second day though.

I wouldn't suggest the Carlile resort as it doesn't have a beach and it's very small. The montego Bay Resort is literally across from the airport so I can only imagine how loud it is there too.

If you end up wanting to book at royal Caribbean let me know, I'll look up the rooms and tell you which ones are the best!

I went to Negril Jamaica sandals, worth every penny as well. In fact I went back to Jamaica after this trip to a Royalton, and it did not compare husband and I decided Sandal's only. You get top service, not just a promise of it.every aspect of the service is by far superior than of others. Their Butler's are trained in England. We were there when hurricane Sandy hit in 2012, they were well prepared and made sure every need was still met. Food was excellent, plentiful and a great variety to choose from. We did have a cabbie take us in town to get souvenirs, I took so long on the store he actually came in to check on me and make sure I was being taken advantage of. Very nice people, its the only place I ever wanna vacation again. Our next trip however will be at the beaches down the street as we have 2 boys now. Also if you go sandals did you know you can actually spilt up your stay at the different sandals on the island:) I would of done this last time, they also will provide transportation to each sandals location for you Free of charge. And if you specifically go to Negril 's sandals you have full use of the beaches down the street to try their restaurants and splash pad stuff. But kids cannot come on the the adult one.

Karliy it really was! I cannot say enough good things about the staff and hotel in general. I really thought it was over priced and probably not worth it, but it truly was incredible!

We had a honeymoons suite which was just grand, but other guests had told me that their rooms were just as good:)

Food is Included along with open bar everywhere:) also sandals includes tips in their front up price so you don't have e to tip if you don't want to but you can if you want.

So although it seems more expensive than other hotels, everything is included:)

We did Sandals Negril and loved it. It was 10 years ago, but at the time they did not allow any tipping. So the only thing you would need money for is if you want to do something outside of the resort.

We decided to go to a quieter resort and requested a room in the gardens. There were two resorts near by that had more night life. We just wanted it to be more relaxed and romantic so take that into consideration when choosing a resort. They bus you between resort if you would like to visit the other ones. There really is nothing like going to a restaurant and ordering anything you want and not having to think about the cost (order your own appetizer they are not shareable sizes lol) Some things I wish we knew were the distance from the airport. While St. Lucia is small it's all mountain so it took us over 45 mins to get to the resort and the driver was a maniac ! I seriously though we were going to die.. Any extra excursions you do is done by a third party. We went on a rum tour and it was unfortunately not that great :\ Also they say don't bring money because they don't except tips but the third party people and drivers totally expect tips. We will definitely be going again, there is nothing like lounging in a swim up bar drinking all the drinks your little heart desires lol
