colonoscopy ...
Well for those who saw my post a few weeks ago about my rectal bleeding... I will be having my colonoscopy tomorrow. Today is prep day and I feel like I'm dying. I'm trying to drink lots of water since I'm still nursing but I'm starving!!!

Update:... I have internal hemerroids.. Luckily nothing bad. I'm so happy everything is otherwise normal. Thank you ladies so much.
And don't freak if the docs find polyps. I've had a few removed and biopsied and I was okay. But it's better they find and remove them.
I hate to say it this way, but I'm glad to see you're having a colonoscopy. My step mom passed away a year ago from colorectal cancer at the age of 43. No one should have to go through it. Colonoscopies can help prevent colorectal cancer (by removing polyps) or help catch it early. You're never too young! I pray that you come up clean!
The prep is the worst part. That stuff tastes horrible. I gagged to to get it down. Don't be far from the toilet because when you feel you got to go, you need to run!! When I woke up from mine I looked over at my friend and said, "I felt them probe me." ?. I was so loopy afterwards and then took a nice long nap.
You will sleep but probably not a lot. Make sure you drink it all, on time so you are cleaned out.
I'm praying it goes well. I know how horrible the preps are. My sweet mom has battled colon cancer and has to do those preps every 6 months!
Anyway. Don't worry too much, you are going to do great! Watch it be just simple polyps causing the bleeding.
Please keep us in the loop of how it all goes.
Worst prep ever I have had to do this several times and all I can say is I'm sorry but make sure everything comes out clear so that u only do this once.

Yep they gave me that big gallon of powder that I have to mix with water... I'm scared for tonight. Will I sleep????

I've had a few and the prep and the drink is yucky! But the sleepy drugs are great! lol

I had one done a few yrs ago due to having a history of colon cancer in my family. Prepping was def not fun! I was glued to the toilet!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Okay ladies I need help . I'm trying to keep my skin clear . I wash my face and use face moisturizer but I'm still getting pimples .
