adults biting children.
My dad bites my kids.
Lol I bite my son all the time! I can't help it he's so cute. I even use my teeth. I'm super gentle and never left a mark but the laugh I get out of my son is priceless! I'd say as long as he doesn't leave marks and your kids don't mind to let him go for it. I honestly don't think I could stop if I tried!!
Well I'm glad it's a thing and not some crazy sign of who knows what. Thank you for your replies ladies.
My oh does this aswell and it drives me crazy. My two year old I'd a chubby baby and he always grabs him and will bite on his chubby bits ( legs/ arms). My son doesn't like it and will cry and moan when daddy does it. I've asked him to stop but he just won't listen. He says he can't help it.
I'm interested to hear if anyone has any advice.
I know that my family does the lip bite (where you have your lips around the teeth and pretend to eat them) to babies and toddlers. My mom in particular does this to cheeks and feet on babies and toddlers, but she has no force behind it, so it's not like she leaves a mark or anything!
Ive never heard of biting with teeth as a sign of affection though. That is just super weird to me.
Ok so I read something the other day that I think pertains. Humans can not handle cuteness it does not register to us we do not know how to handle it that's why you feel so overwhelmed and happy by cute things however and especially in men they do not know how to process the cuteness so a primal instinct is to harm it like people say omg I love it so mu ch I just want to squish it its because we can't handle how freaking cute something is and it overwhelms and confuses my mom gets so excited about my daughter she pinches me lol but that is why and no I wouldn't like him biting my kids so I understand :)
My sister used to lick my cheek & ears whenever she got nervous. Shed also bite my nephews cheek because she said he was to cute & she couldn't control herself. It was a wierd but everyone in my family got used to it. I cant make fun of her though, i bite my SO? Hes tastes good?
I guess I'm the only one who thinks it's not okay. The nibbling isn't a problem, but the fact that you told him not to do something with your children and he still does, I would be more than upset
