Sounds to me like she did something to her son. She probably gave him something & then took him to the park so he could pass away. Maybe he liked the swings alot. I say this because she was diagnosed with a mental disorder 3months prior to this & she was also homeless. She was probably seeking an easy way out. The bbys dad was trying to get custody in march from what i read. Its a very sad situation that could have been prevented if the dad got custody. I hope the child rip & that the mother gets the help she needs.

Some woman was pushing her son on a swing for like two days or something when someone called her in for being there a long time. The police showed up and found out the boy had died. Yet she kept on pushing him on the swing. Damn that's messed up

Thank you for the link. This is truly heartbreaking... My heart breaks for the family. Rip little one. ?

That's horrible. I hate that courts refuse in so many cases to place a child with the father when the mother us clearly not the best choice. Dh is dealing with that now, my ss would be so much better off with us but courts don't care.
deleted-user·
Yeah, the father told a judge that the mother was unfit and they didn't listen. I think they should get in trouble for not demanding she get examined at least
deleted-user·
Update. After autopsy was performed, cause of death was undetermined. They are waiting on toxicology reports. Mother was recently diagnosed with a mental disorder.

Apparently the father tried getting custody of the child a month ago :(
deleted-user·
Wow Lisper. That's so sad.
Does anyone know if there's any updates on this?
deleted-user·
This is located 15 mins from me. They say there's no visable reasons like abuse that the child passed. Until the autopsy is done no one knows how the child passed at night in the swing. I have a three year old and been hoping it's not one of his little friends he knows from his old play class.

With the witness saying they saw the baby alive the day before could have been pp psychosis leading to her killing the baby.
Very sad whichever way it went down all the more reason this needs to be publicized the more people who understand pp the more likely others will get treated before psychotic breaks occur
deleted-user·
Nevermind. I found it. That definitely puts a new twist on it.
deleted-user·
Cfrancis....could you post a link where it says someone saw her the day before with the crying child?? I can't find one anywhere.
deleted-user·
That's so sad I don't know what I would do. Ugh. ??
deleted-user·
Following for update
deleted-user·
Someone reported seeing her there the day before and the baby was alive and crying.
deleted-user·
Everyone grieves differently. I'd be the sake way if my child died, I would probably attack anyone who tried to take my baby away... Lots of mammals grieve just like this...crap monkeys will carry there dead babies around for days. Everyone processes everything differently. If she did not do anything leave her alone! Geez.
deleted-user·
So sad :'(
deleted-user·
Thank you @trockty. Following to know what happened and why :(
deleted-user·
No updates yet...I've been following this since it was first posted in the news.

I am trying to keep an eye out to update. Hopefully they do.

deleted-user·
Wow ?
deleted-user·
I cried when I saw this in the news. I can't imagine her pain.
deleted-user·
:(
deleted-user·
I just read an updated news post. A boy saw this woman pushing her son at the park the night before. At that time, the baby was in the swing crying and alive. This is so upsetting.
deleted-user·
@lou they found this lady at a park pushing her dead 3 yr old on the swing . At the moment they don't know why he died . But the mother is at a mentally hospital being evaluated .
deleted-user·
Idk if i could even move my baby . Smh , that's just soo sad . But i guess when you hit rock bottom mentally there's no telling what you'll do ???
deleted-user·
What happened guys? I can't see the link! Android! Thanks in advance xx
deleted-user·
My heart broke for her ?
deleted-user·
I work in this town, I was going to post this when I got in from work but I couldn't even get myself together to do it. I am floored and absolutely heartbroken for everyone involved.
Our local news interviewed a resident who's son said he saw the mother with the baby earlier in the day (at the park, on the swing) and the baby was crying, so I guess they'll have to determine from the autopsy if there was any foul play involved.
I just couldn't imagine...,
deleted-user·
I would be that mother ?. I think all of us mommies can truly say that we'd be devastated if something like this were to happen to our child (ren).
deleted-user·
Jesus christ....?
deleted-user·
?
deleted-user·
Ugh, my ds is about 2 hours away from me with his grandparents. All I want, because of this post, is for him to be home safe in his bed :( I always worry when he is away, but this one really hits home. I'mma snuggle the poo out of dd tonight.
deleted-user·
?.... So upsetting...
deleted-user·
This would be me and I would more than likely fight/ seriously hurt anyone who come near me to take my child away.
My heart goes out to this woman. I don't know the full story but it does sound like she lost it ? how awful ?
deleted-user·
Excuse me while I cry my eyes out. That poor woman :'(
deleted-user·
So sad :(
deleted-user·
That is so heartbreaking ?
deleted-user·
So heartbreaking
deleted-user·
If anything happened to ds this would be me. I can't even comprehend how shattered she must be inside. It would kill me.
deleted-user·
So sad ?
Bolas Azules ·
My heart truly goes out to any parent who has lost their child. I'm sure she was probably in denial and couldn't cope.
deleted-user·
Oh this is unbelievably sad.
deleted-user·
That's heartbreaking. Seeing as their is no trauma to the child and she was openly pushing him in the swing makes me think she cracked. Obviously there is more to investigate but it sounds like a case where she is having a hard time letting go.
deleted-user·
That's heartbreaking ?
deleted-user·
Probably in grieving. She very well could have been in shock and not willing to let go. One of those things where she couldn't cope at all and lost her mind. If one of mine passed, this would probably be me. I know I wouldn't let go of my Littles until someone came to pry them out of my arms and put me in a ward, probably for the rest of my life. I know me well enough to know, I wouldn't be able to go on without either of my babies.
