i need help please

I just had ds last week on Friday. I had dd 3 years Ago and with her I had a uterine inversion basically prolapsed but they were able to put it back up and I was fine. No complications or anything. I did feel about a year ago pressure and I saw my ob she said it was a little low but nothing bad to just do kegels so I did. Well with ds I had no complications he was 8 lbs 7 oz. It was a smooth delivery after all except a little membrane left that they had to just take care of easily. Now to my problem, since i had ds I've noticed pressure down there more like in my rectum (especially to pass gas, or have a bowel movement sorry tmi) and when I pee I feel pressure In my urethra like bladder it hurts when I empty my bladder. I've been doing kegels like crazy, like all day I am tightening up hoping it goes away and I don't have a prolapse. It is seriously making me depressed. I'm only 22 and I don't want to have a prolapsed uterus or anything. Dh says I'm overreacting since its only been a week but it's driving me crazy... Do any ladies have any advice? Or experience?

I just had #2 almost 8 weeks ago. I had lots of pressure, discomfort, and a bulge until about a week or two ago. My OB said to give it 3-4 months for my uterus to totally shrink and settle back up in my pelvis. You can also look into pelvic floor physical therapy.

I'm so scared to go to the Dr and be told it's something bad... I'm also embarrassed to tell dh if its something wrong. Not because he would be mad or not supportive but because it's always something bad with me

My crotch hurt like hell for 6 weeks after I gave birth. It was an achy pressure that was worse if I stood for lond periods. I had a 3rd degree tear, which could have a lot to do with the pain, I know I don't have a prolapse.
I started seeing a pelvic physiotherapist at about 4 months pp. She checked me for prolapse, she's also helping me with the muscles in my pelvis as it turns out mine were too tight and I needed to cool it with the keegles.
I highly recommend seeing a specialist, give your body a bit to heal though.

Oh I understand being freaked out. Good luck, hopefully it's not prolapsed again!

I'd be freaking out too. I'd get it all checked by a specialist in the OB/GYN dept. you're young I've heard of women getting it stitched into place.

Good luck.

Thank you... I think I will call my ob and see what they recommend... I'm just so freaked out and I am also a hypochondriac so that doesn't help

Just keep up with the kegels and try not to worry just yet since you did just deliver. Have you looked to see if you can see anything? I've got two prolapses, a cystocele and a rectocele that I'm having surgery for soon. I was like you and felt something was off, got a mirror and confirmed lol. I'm 3 months pp

Also, the pain when you urinate could be from a UTI and that can even cause a pressure sensation.
