obama question
With all this going on, i have a serious question. I dont get involved in politics much but i watch. My question is, can Obama actually get kicked out of office. I googled a little but im still lost.... Sorry.
I think small business owners that barely fall into that upper class are hit the hardest.
They are being taxed out of the wazoo thus being unable to maintain their business in order to stay within the laws.
It sucks, it discourages entrepreneurs and allows shady policies to be put in place to skirt around laws.
ie: Look at the number of part time jobs versus full time positions.
No, the whole point of having a House of Representatives is to keep our president in check, once we allow him to break our laws by going over the heads of our house, we are inviting a dictator into our head of state position. I will never ever support any president republican or Democrat to flounce the legislative system we have in place.
I believe that some of his legislation would pass if he wasn't so he'll bent on benefitting only a certain cut of our population. He hasn't proposed anything that would benefit the military families or middle class, and he strongly opposes any benefits toward the upper class, which imo would trickle down to the middle and lower classes.
Monkey, if you look that particular dictionary impeach is included as both a noun and a verb.
When speaking in terms of government and politics it is generally a noun, meaning it is a charge made against a public official. That's why I explained that in my original comment.
The verb is general English language usage. I was simply offering information in my initial comment.
I wasn't referring to you in my last comment I was referring to the other poster, I think I misread her comment but I was put off by what I interpreted as a condescending comment offering a history lesson.
A president can be impeached for committed treason, bribary, and basically any other crime, felony or misdemeanor, and some people (myself included) believe that Obama has committed illegal acts while in office, the most recent being an attempt to go over our judicial system in order to pass legislation.
The House of Representatives brought 2 articles of impeachment against Clinton. The Senate later voted on whether to keep him in office or not. They didn't get the majority so he was acquitted of the impeachment charges. History lesson of the day but wow time flies, doesn't seem like that long ago but almost 20 years.
Clinton was impeached (which basically means he was charged with a crime) but he was acquitted, which means he was basically given a "not guilty" verdict. Impeached means he is being charged with a crime while in office, but not that he necessarily was removed from office.
Nixon was also impeached and he would have likely been removed from office had he not resigned first.
Anyone get eyelash extensions? I have questions
omg . thats what i get for asking a question on the ovia community 🙄
Question: where can I get a fetal doppler for a decent price?
Ok is it me but I feel like the same ppl get on here asking the same questions like the answers are going to change 😑😩😒
Well Mama's I got a question for y'all ok my homegirl trying to get pregnant what she have to do
He needs to break a law before they (the senate and the house) can start the process of impeachment. I won't happen. With the midterm elections Obama has very little power.
