Help! I'm a mama bear!
So my son was born a week ago today, and I am so overprotective of him. I don't want any advice, I don't want anyone holding him, I just want to hold him all the time!
For some moms, like myself, it never goes away not even 3 babies later. I will always be this way ? no shame in my momma game!
I haven't had my son yet either. But I already know how everything is going to play out once he's delivered. I'm a passive person when it comes to my SO family. But I know they'll just wanna grab at him when I try to do skin to skin and I just have a feeling I'm going to snap or something. I'm super protective already. My mama instincts have already kicked in 100%.
I was like that. I think I was border lining unhealthy lol. The only thing that helped me was my mom making get out for short periods of time to get my nails done or something when she was a little bigger. But it will ease up. It's normal ?

I know! I feel so bad but then I don't because I do want to just protect him and make sure he's safe. After all, like you said, I protected him for 9 months, so yeah. The feeling is still so strong now that he's here.
That skin to skin thing is seriously no joke haha!
I was not like that with my first, anyone was allowed to hold her and I definitely took all the advice given to me but made the decision in what I wanted for her.
Don't be close minded to advice, those moms have been there and done that and trust me, the advice is good, babies get used to being held all the time and as they grow, they will want the same but won't be so little anymore, my SO held my daughter all day long when I worked, I am now pregnant and stay at home mom and all she wants sometimes is to be held , so I have to cook, clean, do my makeup, etc like that??
But definitely make your own choices for baby, youre the mommy?
With my first I was definitely like that the first few months. To make matters worse in my case one of my sister n laws would visit and just come and take him outta my hands and ask if she could hold him after she took him..ooh that made me one angry momma bear. We are just like that because we carried them for how ever long they stayed baking and we were able to protect them in there so we only want to make sure we are protecting them the best we can once they enter the world
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Trying to hold out and not stress because I don't want my baby being premature. I want a healthy baby.

i'm getting my baby circumcised tomorrow & it makes me so sad. i want to do it but i don't want to see him hurting :( makes me cry every time i think about it
Due date How likely are you to actually give birth on your due date, especially with your first kid? I don't want him to come on his exact due date because I don't want him to share a birthday with a certain someone.
