Also it is you have an elevated temp that isn't responding to Tylenol I would actually suggest going in to be checked for as possible infection developing

My midwife said motrin or Tylenol. She suggests Tylenol more often but motrin is OK. She just told me no Advil (ibuprofen) but this is more of an issue during the third trimester.
IMO if you've taken it and your doctor said your safe. She has your file and knows you. She is saying it's OK for you, at the moment. This might change later but trust your doctor. It's hard but important
Ever since I went on here and looked up some responses I decided to only take the Tylenol. However it hasn't been working so I'm on my way to the doctors. I took one Motrin after she said it was okay and now I feel guilty. It made me feel so much better though for about 6 hours. :( took another Tylenol around 2am and my fever is up to 102 :( ugh.

I've heard both responses. I've also heard some doctors are ok with it up until the 3rd trimester. I would weigh the pros and cons, since yours said it was ok. If you truly need it, one dose is PROBABLY ok, but if not I would just skip it and stick to the Tylenol.
