what do I do?!?

So I work as a barisa, and lately the smell of coffee makes me sick. I literally get a wiff of espresso and have to run to the bathroom to throw up. I can't stand the smell right now and I have no idea what to do to help since obviously I need my job. :( my ob prescribed me promethazine but I'm too scared to take it as it makes you drowsy and I work 9 hours a day. any suggestions??? I've tried the sea bands and they didn't work.

You can't take zofran your first trimester but I know there's something else the dr can give you for nausea. Maybe try it on your day off to see if it makes you sleepy.

Alcohol wipes. Got sick during a non stress test with my last baby and the nurse held one of those under my nose and the nausea was gone. It was so weird lol I don't think it's work all the time or it'd be good to smell them constantly. Maybe zofran? I'm a huge coffee drinker, and the last 4 days just the thought of coffee makes me feel sick.

Unisom (doxylamine) and b6 at bedtime. 25 mg of each. You can also chew minty gum or suck on peppermints. That might help.

Alcohol prep pads like they use to clean an area. Score they give you a shot. The alcohol smell is suppose to take the nausea away.

Something else you could try is taking vitamin B6... spose to help with nausea my doctor said. I just ordered some and can't wait to see if it works! I read good reviews on Amazon from women with morning sickness...

My doc told me that a little Vicks Vapo-Rub under your nose can help with smells. :)
