20 month old giving up naps?
My lo just turned 20 months and no longer wants to nap. He sleeps from 8-6:30/7. We do lots of activity during the day but he doesn't want to nap anymore. If we are in the car he'll fall asleep otherwise nope. Is this normal? Mamas loosing her mind. I don't get home from work until 1 am cant fall asleep until 2 and could really use that nap. Plus I get nothing done all day.

Thanks. I hope it just an off week. He needs me constantly as soon as he's awake it's pick me up and go. The only downtime I have is when I'm nursing him. When I try to do housework he follows me around crying. I work evenings so its not like I rest/clean when he goes to bed. It's hard to hear of others whose kids still nap 3 hrs a day and sleep the same or more at night and are older
Oh and his nighttime sleep got shorter so that didn't work in my favour either. He gets between 10-11 hrs at night.
My daughter is doing this too. Makes me wanna cry lol. She's a twin, her bro still needs his nap but she only has one every few days. I put her down anyway cause there is stuff I need to get done while they aren't around! It is nice to get her to bed earlier though!
My daughter did and hasn't since...she is 8 now. I'm glad she did because her brother whom is a year younger absolutely always needs one, and if he didn't have one he was impossible to deal with lol
Girl be happy lol. I would do anything for my kids to not nap during the day. My 3 year old doesn't nap during the day anymore and I'm soooooo glad because then she won't sleep at night. On the other hand... My son takes about 3 naps a day and will not sleep the whole night unless I out him to bed at 12 at night. Anything before that, he'll wake up in the middle of the night.
I thought my 2.5 year old was stopping her nap a month or so ago, but it was just an off week. Have them keep taking quiet time in their bed if you can and they might fall asleep.
My 20 month old gave up naps for 3 days but then got back in the habit again. It scared me. Lol. We try to tire her out in the first part of the day. She sleeps from 9pm - 8 am and then naps around 1-3. If she skips a nap, we put her to bed around 7:30-8.
My daughter is doin the same thing! She is 18 mths old and for the past few weeks is a hassle just to get her to take her daily nap, which most of the time goes without one. Its very frustrating, especially when that is ur only 'you' time and time to relax. I guess theyre just afriad theyre goin to miss something.
My 4 month old does not like to take naps in his own crib. He sleeps in it during the night until he wakes to eat then I bring him to our bed but naps during the day he won't budge. Any tips to get him to start falling asleep in his own bed?
Weaning We are finally on the path to being weaned! He was down to only nursing for nap time and at night but yesterday he did so well not nursing at nap time that we went ahead and dropped the night nursing as well! If definitely took forever to get him to fall asleep but thankfully I'm a sahm and Athena isn't due until April. Hopefully we find better ways to fall asleep quickly before then. I think the whole process would be easier if my husband would put him to sleep but sadly he works long hours and can't. I just hope we're actually done and he keeps handling it well. I'll miss it but nothing will change the bond I have with my little guy and hopefully 24 weeks is early enough so he won't be jealous of his baby sister.
Rant My SO has been rude a lot ever since I've gotten pregnant...he said he doesn't care about my pregnancy, he doesn't even take one day off from work just ONE to come to at least one ultra sound appointment. I mean he's always making sure I'm fed, he lets use the heating pad, and even apologized to saying he doesn't care. He can mess with me all day but when I want to join and play around he gives me an attitude. He just makes me feel like s*** at times. He's a great fiancé don't get me wrong, but he can really get on my nerves and makes me upset to the point I go to bed earlier than him and cry until I fall asleep. Idk if it's the hormones or something/: I try to be a great fiancé. But I always seem to fail /:
Super tired & doesn’t want to nap😌 lol He is trying his hardest not to fall asleep while watching super why😂😂what do they think they are going to miss out on if they fall asleep🤷🏻 ♀ 😂

Also as soon as I put him in his bed he starts crying and screaming and throwing things so no quiet time in bed possible either
