Cosleeping questions
I'm not judging anyone who does it, if it works for you that's great, I just had some questions about how it works. I've only coslept for like an hr in the morning after dh had gone to work for the first month to get extra sleep lol.
DD starts off in her pak n play, which is in our room, & then I put her in bed with us when we go to sleep.
We have a double bed on the floor & pushed up against the wall. DD sleeps closest to the wall, me in the middle, & DH on the outside... DH is a pretty heavy sleeper so I don't feel it's safe to put her between us. If I get up I generally just leave her there. When she starts crawling I figure she'll have to crawl over me to get off the bed & will probably wake me up. Lol
If I'm not feeling well or am overly tired DD doesn't sleep in bed with us bc I know being overly tired can cause co-bedding to be dangerous... In that case (which hasn't happened since starting to co-bed) I would just deal with rocking her back to sleep & putting her in the pak n play.
Since starting to co-bed we're all getting MUCH better sleep :)
For naps she goes down in the pak n play or bed... Usually the pak n play.
We went to bed at the same time.
My husband works nights so he's no trouble.
We have an ensuite so if I need to use the bathroom, I can still see him.
When he started crawling, he DID fall off the bed.
We don't cosleep anymore, except for the morning feed. We snuggle and usually fall asleep for an hour, then get up for the day.
Co sleeping for 9 months - I sleep seperatelyly frommy husband as he wakes at 4 for work and don't want to distrust him, I sleep on a double mattress on the floor with dd
I feed her to sleep then sneak out
I have one side pushed against the wall so she can't roll off, and if she crawls off there is a gate at the top of the stairs
I sleep wrapped around her in the fetal position
I mainly co-sleep with my son and have since day one. Usually at night I'll nurse him to sleep then watch TV for a little before I go to sleep or I'll get out of bed and do something else and have pillows on the edge of my bed do he doesn't roll off. When I have to get up in the middle of the night I gently get out of bed am really quiet then gently get back in. When he starts to crawl I'm going to put my bed against the wall and he'll have that side of the bed. I sleep with just a sheet, I put him to the to of the bed where my head is so he's not covered. I have a pack n play next to my bed he sometimes sleeps in but I'd rather him right next to me so I can check on him easier.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I'm confused so what's bed sharing? Because I'm getting a co sleeper for my son to sleep in on the bed. I thought bed sharing was baby in bed with you and co sleeping was baby in bassinet or co sleeper in bed with you.
