Rant- baby doesn't sleep.
My son has never been much of a sleeper, there were days in the first month that other than 5-10 min naps he slept maybe 4 hrs out of 24. He slept good at night between 1-4 months like 10-11 hrs but didn't really nap during the day maybe a total of 1.5 hrs. After 4 months his night sleep went downhill too. He is now 7.5 months and gets up 3-6 times a night. He'll have a 5 day stretch were I think it's getting better but then it will go back or even be worse. I don't think he's ever slept more than 12-13 hrs in a 24 hr period. Im worried he doesn't get enough sleep as he has always been hrs under what the sleep tables say for his age. Help! He sleeps for 10-11 hrs at night (with waking lots so prob 8.5-9.5 actual sleep) with 2 30 min naps now on a good day

Get a swing! My almost 4 mo hates napping but takes 3-4 hour naps in his swing (: thats the only way I got him to sleep.

Also try putting him down for a nap earlier than normal. He might be overtired and that makes it harder for them to sleep.

I've tried putting him down early and that doesn't work. I think he might be too big for a swing now. He's outgrown his bouncy chair and that's the only way he will nap. I still use it his bum just hits the ground. He's actually been napping in it for 40 min now! It's been months since he napped more than one hr
