Appointment went well. So I really didn't have OHSS or else he wouldn't have done the fresh transfer. If anything quite mild. He said its just bad luck. Also he said the FET have higher success rate. And also having the body going through stim was maybe just not the best environment.

We decided to try only one to transfer. I told him that if the one doesn't stick my next transfer is free. He chuckled and said maybe. Lol. So yah and apparently I have 10 not 9 little ones waiting

And will be on estrace protocol. So crossing my fingers on this one.

I'm glad you got answers and that your RE is looking into more resources. Keep us posted. Sounds like they can do something about it. Do you think you and DH will jump on it right away if able?

Efong, how was your appt?? When will your next fet be? We got the genetics results back and I have unbalanced translocation. Dr. said it wasn’t “bad news”. He said at least now he knows what to look for. He’s going to defer to my RE about whether or not to change any protocols for next cycle. And then the big decision when do hubby and I want to start the next cycle?? ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ hoping all goes well for you with this FET!

And I will be cheering you on!!!! Seeing my RE tomorrow to just go over the failed transfer. Maybe possibly putting 2 in! Keep us posted!

I’m doing much better. My husband and I had blood drawn last week for genetics testing so hopefully that will clear up any questions the dr could have. I think we will start round 3 in November.

When I did my first ivf back in 2011 we did a fresh transferred and transferred 2. Which resulted in my almost 4 yrs old daughter. With this second ivf we transfered 2 both times. First frozen ended in chemical pregnancy and second frozen gave me my twins. I would recommend you to transfer 2 to up your chance. Good luck!!

After my failed FET, my period came back a couple days after stopping progesterone. And then every 28 days 3 months after that.

Thanks ladies. And you both had or having twins congrats. Did you guys both decide to try two embryos then next time? I'm deciding to increase my chances. I think twins are blessings. I have twin nieces and I can't imagine them one without the other. And for my nephew love him just be same as a singleton!

I had a failed fresh cycle and had a normal period following. I didn't wait and did my FET my next period and got pregnant with twins! I didn't want to wait any longer and it worked! Good Luck!

When I had my 1st FET back in April that ended in a chemical pregnancy I stopped all meds and my period came 3 days later. My next cycle was on time and regular. I also took a few months off before proceeding with my next FET that gave me my bfp. Hoping your next cycle is successful.
