GUYS!!!!!!! 6dp5dt I just got a POSITIVE PREGNANCY TEST! OMG.
I am relaxed now ? I’ve let it go. I know my rights and I know there is nothing she can say or do!
If she decides to fire me ( which I’m pretty sure she can’t!!) but if she does then WOOO no more work haha.
We can live off hubbys wage if we need to.
It will be a bit tight, but we’ll be fine. x

She’s not required to help but she certainly can’t give you hell on your legal right. Ummm no. Don’t tell her any more details on your journey except what’s absolutely necessary and then make sure every interaction going forward is in writing and documented. Minimize verbal communication. And finally, try to relax!! It’s going to get better soon.
I just had no idea who in the world would be that spiteful as to punish someone for trying to have a baby!! Especially as she is a mother herself with 3 children!!
I had told her how much money we have spent and how stressful every thing is but she really doesn’t care. ??♀️
That's definitely an unfair employer. But you have to take it easy and don't let it affect your progress.if you feel stressed, try taking a deep breath or close your eyes if you can for even 3-5 mins will help . ?? Praying your progress remain unaffected. It's always advisable to cut down on stress while trying to get pregnant. Best wishes!

I have the most unsupportive boss who called me and started shouting at me down the phone saying it’s unacceptable to have time off work for IVF. ?
I had my transfer on Tuesday... I had off work, tue wed and thurs. with a doctors certificate. she is literally unreal and i really hope the stress this morning hasn’t effected our progress. ☹️☹️☹️
My husband doesn’t want to know either. If I mention it he’s just like nooooo ?
He’s afraid that if he lets him self get excited or even just think about then he will get hurt too much if it’s negative. But I honestly think he will be just as hurt either way!

@laybugs1990 don’t think so. The nausea were certainly due to the progesterone.
She is back from San Diego (our clinic is over there but we all live in Canada). My partner doesn’t want to know about first symptoms etc because he doesn’t want to get crazy! I’m okay with being crazy so I text her sometimes to know if something new happens ahaha
I guess the embryo is now attached and hcg will start soon hopefully ??

@stacyfrancis7 stupid cysts! Mine was very close to being cancelled due to a cyst too but luckily was all ok in the end.

Yes ! I was originally set for November but got postponed due to a cyst but I guess everything happens for a reason I am definitely ready now ? very excited for you and I also google everything and ask a million questions all the time I am just one of those people that needs to know everything to calm my mind. My dr always jokes that he’s going to hire me to work there.

@zsj2017 that a long wait! I wouldn’t be able to wait that long either lol. My clinic gave me a test to use. It’s in a plain white wrapper so I have no clue what brand it is!
When we were trying naturally a few years ago, I’d buy FRER but it was never positive so I don’t know if they’re any good!

Also 3DPO has IUI on 7th am defiantly having some light cramping. It could be the trigger effecting me but I never have these symptoms usually at ovulation.
My Dr wants me to wait until 26th for have blood test but there is no chance. Have already been testing the trigger out. Only issue is tests I’m using don’t show levels under 25 which is pretty high so I think it’s gonna be another 10days yet.
What tests would any of you recommend.

@butterflydreamz yeh that might be a bit early for you but never know. are you testing your trigger out?
Mine was frozen transfer so I didn’t have to trigger.
@malikaDee. same here. I have a couple of ‘busy’ days now. nothing too strenuous. Just visiting family and stuff but beats sitting around the house in front of the TV.

Good luck to you all. Fingers crossed it works. I remember the day before I had to do my test I seriously thought it had failed but it came positive. I’m not 17 weeks pregnant with twin girls.
This was my final Ivf and after this we was thinking of adopting.
It will all happen for you all just stay positive and relaxed. It helped for me.
@butterflydreamz I’m testing on the 16th too.. my clinic said wait till the 17th but I go back to work on the 16th so I want to know before I go just so i know what I can/can’t do.
I know there will be a chance that it’s a false negative but could be positive by then. 16th will be 10dp5dt so should be ok ??

This wait has been the WORST! I had my (first!) IVF Feb 26, and have a blood test this Sunday! I am a wiener and tested today, even though my dr said that IVF patients tend to test positive later than than the “normies” lol. It was almost imperceivable but I (And the hubs!) THINK there was a line! My symptoms are the exact same as you. So. Damn. Tired. GOOD LUCK!!!

@jlwood19 eek exciting!! My clinic doesn’t do beta testing (in the UK) I have to do a home test on 11dp5dt and then if it’s positive I then go to my GP for blood work.

I have his dull ache in my pelvic area, and I’m so tired. Like I slept for 9hours last night, I got up at 8am and I was back asleep at 10am! ?
