HCG nightmare
I experienced a miscarriage the day after Thanksgiving. I've been going for weekly blood draws to make sure my levels were decreasing back down to 0. Last week my HCG came back at 10. I went today and now it's 12. Wtf? Will my body ever normalize? This is really starting to get me down ?

Missed Miscarriage or new pregnancy!?!? So yesterday I had blood work done to double check my HCG again since I was still spotting at cd9 and my HCG came back as 111! They said it could either be a new pregnancy (which I doubt) or it could be left over from my chemical pregnancy that my body never got rid of. At last check, my HCG was down to 7 on May 19th from my initial beta of 11 May 17th from my failed FET so I have no idea what's going on. They are waiting on progesterone results from yesterday's blood work now and I have to have another blood draw tomorrow morning to check my numbers again. Don't know what to think.... All of my miscarriages in the past have all been natural miscarriages and happened rather quickly.
My doctor just called and my hcg level has gone down so I will definitely be having a miscarriage. :(
Woke up this morning wet, I thought I was peeing I took a shower layed back down & I started poring out fluids my water broke!

In a 6 days? That would be my luck ? My levels were steadily going down. Agonizingly slow, but they were decreasing. Apparently I'm never going to get to stop being stuck.

It could be retained material. Has your doc checked for that? I’m so sorry mama. I’ve had several losses and the ones that jerk you up and down and longer are so hard to deal with.

I had a transvaginal ultrasound around mid December and they said I had passed everything. I suppose my doctor will call me in the morning but for the night I'm left to wonder what the heck is going on in there ?

@Jane I suppose anything is possible. However with the way things have been going post miscarriage I'd say that's not the case. I would be truly shocked if it were.

I spoke with my doctor today and she was not at all concerned. She said that such a small rise is completely normal and that HCG fluctuates occasionally. Does this sound right? Perhaps it fluctuates but after a miscarriage shouldn't it first reach base levels before doing anything strange?
