Unfortunate end
I thought I would share my story here, mainly for myself I suppose. This was pregnancy number 4. I have 3 children, and each pregnancy came with it's own complications but they were born healthy. When I saw a positive test I was surprised. I was on birth control and hadn't missed a pill, and we figured it was meant to be. Never imagining things would go wrong, we shared the news with our closest friends and family.
When i miscarried at 16 weeks, i bled super heavy even after my emergency d&c. Just when i got super worried, my bleeding let up. Listen to your gut and as pp said, usually the rule of thumb is soaking through more than one pad an hour. Im sorry :( i know its a very tough thing to go through.
Thank you for your response. It's been extremely bad since about 230. I don't know if it's normal to be in this much pain, or for it to take so long. I've had babies in less time than this is taking. It's hard to monitor my blood loss. I am spending so much time just on the toilet, trying to get everything out. I was very lightheaded earlier. It's gotten a little better since my SO forced me to eat.
I’m so sorry :(
I know the main concern is too much bleeding. If you are bleeding and soaking a pad for more than an hour and usually for longer than that. I’d go to the ER.
For pain you can take Tylenol I’d take 2 if you take them.
Hopefully everything passes on it’s own for you.
I’ve had 2 losses and totally different experiences with them. One I delivered at home and passed everything on my own. The 2nd one I ended up with retained tissue. I was 16 weeks with both.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
The beginning of your story was identical to mine. Except I saw my doctor the next day that confirmed the baby was gone but he gave me another week. Prayers momma.
