Update: I haven't yet told my boss, but another coworker (also a friend) just informed me she got a positive pregnancy test. Half of his staff is currently pregnant. Oh boy lol

I was almost in this same position. My coworker is due a month before me and my boss was a bit annoyed about it. I knew he was going to flip when he realized he’d have to cover two of us (admittedly that’s VERY tough since there’s only 3 of us). Butttt I ended up transferring to a different (larger) office so it’s not a big deal.

He’ll get over it. Sorry he’s stressing you out.

That's what happens when he has so many women of childbearing age working there! He should expect it! Not like you are going to wait a whole year cause "Judy's" having a baby! ? My friend had the same situation in a small dental office. Good luck! Hope he doesn't give anyone a hard time!

Can't get get a temp while people are out in maternity leave. I mean Jesus people get pregnant and have kids Wtf does he expect lol.

No on call service. He's in practice alone and does all surgeries out of his office. I work at the front desk so barring any unforeseen circumstances I can work pretty much up until I go into labor. It's just annoying and disappointing he's not supportive.
