Breastfeeding through a growth spurt
Boy, this is no joke! I'm EBF my daughter. She's my second child but I wasn't able to breastfeed my son (couldn't latch-later discovered slight tongue tie) so this is my first experience with this. She's 13 days old now and has been nursing non stop since yesterday. Take my usual 2-3 hours of sleep I get a night a slash that to less than half! I'm absolutely exhausted, and I still have to make time for my 14 month old when my daughter finally sleeps. How long do growth spurts typically last? Also, since this has started yesterday she's only had 3 poopy diapers (still plenty of wet ones). She usually has anywhere from 6 to 9. I'm guessing this is because of the growth spurt? Is she just using more of the breast milk than usual? Thanks ladies for your responses :)

Usuaĺly only last a couple of days shes just tryna stimulate your supply growth spurts are horrid lol my daughter feeds so much more (during the day thankfully) during a growth spurt it is exausting for sure i also have an older child so sucks when your tryna split two ways with a boob attached baby lol. As for the poops your probly right shes just using more so less waste my daughter typically poops once or twice a day sometimes every two days unless i eat or drink certain things (milk mostly) then i can end up with a few more poops
