I'm 27 weeks. Should I be concerned about this much swelling?

The doctor did not say what caused it. My feet do seem to get bad towards the end of the work week from sitting all day at my job. Also, it's been pretty hot here, which may have caused it. I did borrow a blood pressure cuff, and bp was normal.
I did not disagree with anyone. I asked for opinions, then called my doctor after some of the girls said I should call him. He told me what to do from there, and I followed his advice. Please only reply if you are going to be supportive.
My friend had horrible swelling from 20 weeks on daily and it was just pregnancy related. No other health concerns. But first thing I think of is BP.
If I were you I would get my BP checked. I know most pharmacys have those machines, or if you know someone who has a cuff and knows how to read Bp's is better then the machine. It would ease my mind
If the swelling comes on suddenly there is cause for concern. Could be nothing, but I'd probably make a trip just to be safe.
I called my doctor last night. He said since I felt okay otherwise that I don't need to be concerned. My feet are a little less swollen this morning.
That amount of swelling is abnormal. I would suggest heading to the hospital pretty soon. They'll want to check for protein in your urine, you blood pressure, and a few other things. Hope everything turns out well!
They do look quite swollen hun I would call your doc or midwife and see if they can see you
Could be sign of preeclampsia. I swelled for a month before my urine tested positive with it.
Yes, I know about that girl that had her baby already. That's why I'm so concerned. I don't think my feet look quite as swollen as her feet did. Thanks for your reply.
Yes! Call your doctor immediately. It could be nothing (like when I was super swollen) or it could be a sign of early labor. There's a girl in this group who had very swollen feet just days before she had her baby at 22 weeks.
Call just to be safe!

Try to elevate your legs propped under some pillows since you're working and mostly sitting for long periods of time. Take care! :)
