Thanks for sharing ladies. My doc did a last minute ultrasound to look at the placenta previa and was able to do a bikini cut. The boys and I are doing well????.

My scheduled c section due to placenta previa was supposed to be bikini cut.

However weeks before the scheduled c section I had placental abruption and had an emergency c section that was also bikini cut.

As for weight loss and exercising that’s a standard 6 week post op -take it lightly.

Breastfeeding well for me pumping due to ds being in the nicu was hard at first because my milk took a while to come in and pumping I wouldn’t get much out until a month into it.

They managed a bikini cut for my emergency c-section with the twins, and my bleeding was not too bad so hopefully they manage to avoid doing it vertically.

i didnt have to have the classic cut but my dr did tell me it would be a possibility she just had to see as she worked.

Wow I didn't know there was another way to do it! We have a doctor in our town that was fired from surgery by performing a c-section that way and it has been the gossip of our town for years. Now he is only an ER doctor that can prescribe prescriptions and that's all. I didn't realize that was actually a way to do it.

Thanks rpicklestwins. I would love to avoid classic cut. I hope it doesn’t come down to it. My OB said they’ll use an ultrasound to guide them during the surgery to make a final determination.

Idk about all that.... my c section is the bikini cut, I don’t think I’d do the classic cut at all unless absolutely necessary. I also had twins via c section.
