So my dr tried to look at babies gender today but baby was facing down laying on my placenta he ended up taking a guess and said boy. Why would he say that if he couldn't see boy parts ?

You can have a blood test to be positive of the gender . All it is.(chromosome counts) plus you will be more relieved and can start buying your baby's stuff in whatever color you think will fit you and baby.
