Jude is already starting to feed himself. He's a vegetable lover. He's just about done with purees, completely done with oatmeal, and has been eating diced steamed green beans, spinach, and carrots. And scrambled eggs- yup eggs. So proud of him.

She will Michelle. He's not eating a complete meal either. That's why he gets a full bottle first. I think it's a long process. His gagging is getting better every time. And there are certain things he like better and are easier for him. For example I think "puffs" the little baby food are really good for training. They start to dissolve are not sugar laden and have a nice fruity taste. He likes them and they're helping him get used to solids.

Oh I only wish Clara would take to solids the way Jude is..... she is also so interested in what we are eating and I give her little bits but she doesn't stay interested long enough to eat enough. I make her purees and try every time I eat. She will be 5months on Sunday so maybe with a bit of time she will be more interested

Hey mrs brady! Christine I think? Ugh sorry if I goofed.
I knew he was ready to try when he no longer wanted mashed banana. We eat together as a family and he would stare at what we were eating. So I started little bits of steamed veggies and he was so happy. Everything I do for Jude is done by following his lead. I feel there is no real manual, no one way of doing things. I don't force him to sleep or to eat. He doesn't rule my world, but we are both happy and he's doing phenomenally cognitively as well as physically.

Jess- go Kinleigh! I make scrambled eggs with no dairy and throw in some spinach at the end until it's wilted. I scramble them dry to ensure there's no bacteria and I give him tiny pieces with his veggies. They're very soft and not too slippery. I personally think it's great you're letting her try stuff. Especially with seasonings. I added low sodium adobo to the eggs ?
