No it's not too soon. I promise you'll be more upset than Jude. Especially with him being in his own house with his own things, he'll be totally comfortable and fine. Kids are very resilient. Enjoy yourself. You deserve it.

I don't think it is too early. Enjoy yourself! I take my youngest with me almost everywhere. Didn't take the kids to our anniversary dinner and we were gone for 3 hours all together

DH got me tickets to see 311 my favorite modern day band and he did it as a surprise- so I didn't really get to decide. At first we had a friend who lives near the coliseum watching him, but she's only met him once and I want him to be in his own house. DH's sister is coming and she's spent quite a bit of time with him. She's fed him a bottle several times and voluntarily changes him. I just feel like is he going to wonder where I am? Is he going to be able to get to sleep? No way in hell I'm staying for an encore! I just hope I'm not a blubbering mess I can just see DH getting annoyed with me. It's different for him though... wayyyyyyyy different.

Yes and I regretted turning the oven on. Lol but it was worth it. I'm going to invest in a big toaster oven asap. One recipe I saw called for olive oil, but I used cooking spray instead. The herbs mixed w the cheese really made it tasty.
