Hsg is short for something 2 long to remember lol. But they put something up there with dye and if the dye goes where it neededs to go then ur tubes are not blocked. But if they are I think they can push it through and make them clear. But if that does not work then prob surgery.

My husband and I tried for 6 months with no success. 10 days after I had the HSG test, I got pregnant. I swear by it and I think bc I had an IUD for 3 years prior, it kept us from conceiving and the test flushed out my tubes clean. Good luck!

My husband and I have been ttc for over 2 years. I went to my doc and he said I need a pap done. Everything was good. Then I had to give blood. Everything went good. Then on the 23rd I go for a hsg. What they do is an ultrasound and put dye in and if it goes were it needs to go then my tubes are not blocked. But if they are blocked im not for sure what they will do. I can be put on meds. Or have surgery so we will see . good luck!

Insurance will cover some or should I got.checked first and after 3 times on Clomid he will get checked.

gyno wouldn't do anything for me told me see a specialist I hope it won't be costy...they first said before anything my hubby should be seen first

Yes the best thing to do its see a doctor I waited 4 yrs before I went and now on month twi of clomid too help ovulate you shoukd call and get a appt
