fever question.

So my baby just popped out her first tooth yesterday and she had a fever of 101.7 last night. I gave her ibuprofen and put her to bed and it went away. She woke up for a bit and then I put her down for the night and she just woke up for a bottle and she's got a high fever again. Should I be worried or is this just from teething. And should I continue to give her ibuprofen or Tylenol? My son never had a fever higher than 99.7 so I haven't dealt with this before. Should I maybe call her on call to see what they say?

Thanks ladies. I feel so bad. My poor baby is burning up and obviously uncomfortable. I wish there was more I could do to make her feel better. I know J don't feel good at 102...she doesn't have a normal temperature in the first place her normal temp is the same as mine and it's 96.7 so that's a pretty high fever for her.

Yeah I would keep an eye on her if it isn't lowering then take her in.

My oldest ran 103 temp for 3 days every time he got a tooth. Once he had it for 5 days and ended up cutting 4 teeth within those 5 days.

I would call her doctor. If it's higher than 100 it could be an infection. Is she irritable more than usual?
