Pumped this in one session. I am so happy with my supply this time. :)
@ss3mom yes we did. A few ladies on here actually sent me some. Also a few days ago my husband found a job. So we should be better off now... And even better news we are expecting a really good tax return so we will be buying a home. It's a mobile home but it's a nice one and we will finally have our own home again. I can move out of my dad's and our children will have their own rooms and I'm just so excited. I hope to get a job soon as well.
Honestly I've always produced a lot but with my son I lost my supply quickly because I got lazy and also made a lot of mistakes my biggest mistake was letting my step mom convince me it was OK to supplement with formula one time so I could go out with my husband because I didn't have enough pumped that day.. I ended up using more and more formula out if laziness and I regret it so much. Once I realized I was losing my supply I tried to fix the problem and pump and feed but my son wasn't getting enough and he would throw a fit everytime i fed him on the breast. So my biggest piece of advice is if you want to exclusively breastfeed don't even use formula once because being a first time mom all I wanted was sleep and I took advantage of how quick and easy formula and ruined my changes of breastfeeding longterm with my son. We only breastfed about 2 months when I lost my supply. This time I know better and I won't give her even a bit of formula. I want to keep my supply. Also I pump a lot and I give myself breast massages or my husband does it. He's so much better at it. I always ask him to if I have a clogged duct because he can always get it loosened. Sorry for the long comment. I massage before and during feeding and pumping.
