Grunting when put down for bed
Dd will be almost asleep or asleep before bed time and I put her in her rock n play or crib and she is immediately wide eyed and grunting and moving her legs all around. She sleeps perfectly in my arms and this only starts around 6 pm but will go until the morning. I've maybe gotten 3 hours sleep in 2 days because she does this all night. I've tried doing a bath before bed, gas drops, gripe water, a little heated rice pack on her belly and nothing works except holding her. This is a recent thing. She used to go down easily and sleep for at least 5 hours. I'm frustrated and sleep deprived. Any advice or thoughts?
We've swaddled since day 1! It's the only way she'll sleep. Otherwise she wacks herself in the face!
Mine just started this so we started using the swaddle me swaddles.. He was so mad about it the first night but since then I swaddle him at night and nap time and he sleeps so much better!!! I wait till he's out then put him in his rock and play and keep my hands on his side for warmth so if he starts to stir he feels my warmth and thinks we're still snuggling. Then after maybe 1.5-2 min I walk away and he's been doing sooo much better!
Oh man. It's good to know I'm not alone! My first dd was always difficult like this so we just held her all the time but with this one I can't do that because I need sleep to handle the 2 year old all day! Hopefully it's just a phase. Mine has been in bed for less than an hour and I've already been in there at least 5 times.
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
I'm taking dd to the doctor this afternoon she was crying and grunting so hard last night and this morning. It makes me so sad and it's been a rough couple of days for baby and momma! She's on enfamil newborn now so I'm wondering if they will have me change her formula or what!
