crazy step-mom rant!!!

My dad passed away almost 7 years ago from cancer. He had been married to my step mom since I was 9 (I'm 29 now). When he passed he left everything to my step mom because she still had my little sister to support at the time. She promised to still be a part of our lives even though my dad was gone. About a year after he passed, she began doing drugs and dating a nasty man who is about 10 years younger than her. She was completely driven away me and her own daughters who loved my dad as their own. She has sold almost all of my dad's property and spends all the money on drugs. It breaks my heart that legally I can't do anything to preserve all the things my dad worked so hard for. My dad owned his own medical practice and several plots of land worth millions of dollars. All being spent on drugs. I'm just so heartbroken. My Dad's legacy deserves better.

I will ask! Currently my step sister, her own daughter, is the process of pressing charges against her for not returning the boat my dad owned that he put solely in my step sisters name. She tried to sell it when she doesn't even legally own it!

Maybe you can talk to a lawyer about filing an injunction against her selling the property based on drug-related incompetence. I don't know if it's possible but you could ask

My moms step mom was bad too. When my grandpa died, she knew that my aunt and mother had the rights to the house well literally on the day of the funeral she tried to talk to them about signing it all over. She was suppose to be a grieving widow but was more worried about making sure she got to keep everything! My aunt and sister said they would agree to sign it over for one thing in exchange and that was a few pictures of him. She literally told them they couldn't have any and still continuously begs for the rights. My aunt and mom are by no means going to ever kick her out but were severely hurt because that is the only time she communicates with them.
