I'm 29.6 ? I have a high pain tolerance as well, and last night I cried I am hurting so bad.

My fiancé keeps telling me to call the dr but I know they won't do anything. My lower back is hurting really bad too.

Sounds like spd. Your body produces too much relaxin too soon before baby comes and can cause hip instability and hip butt and pelvis pain. I was just diagnosed with it. THANK GOD I'M NOT CRAZY. People were telling me the pain and pressure is normal and I have a high pain tolerance and this is no joke, spd. I can barely walk,.lift my left, change positions at night, get off the couch etc. It's so debilitating. My husband has to help me get up and moving around. My hips, pelvis and butt are in so much pain constantly and my hip pops a lot. I put frozen water bottles on my butt and pelvis at night for relief. So sorry you have to go thru this. I'm 35 weeks and have had it for 2 weeks. I don't see how I can take 5 more weeks of this excruciating pain. How far along are you?

Yup! It's the hormone relaxin that makes your joints very loose to prepare for birth. I've had SPD since like 20 weeks and I'm 32 weeks now. It sucks and there isn't a lot you can do for it. They usually recommend a supportive girdle belt to help. I've yet to try one but I've heard good things. Or your doctor can recommend some kind of physical therapy to help ease the pain as well. I just make sure to keep my legs together when standing up, moving in bed, etc to reduce the amount of movement in my pelvis. One leg moving without the other will cause more pain which is why walking hurt. Sometimes it hurts me so bad I can't get up at all. :(

I have had this since Friday! I went to l&d Friday night and everything is fine. I don't remember this with my first at all!

Just read something that said this could be so to an increase in Relalxin?? Not having it yet, but just saw an article.
