Wisdom tooth Has anyone had to have a wisdom tooth or teeth removed while pregnant? Looks like I will be next week, but…

I had mine done while pregnant, there is no pain at all. Can't feel a thing and it doesnt really hurt after the teeth are out either. Just some sore spots from the local anesthetic shots which will easily be managable with regular tylenol from what I can remember. Its the lack of being able to eat solids for a few days thats the sucky part. Trust me it will be totally fine there is nothing to worry about. :)

i'm surprised they would do that while you are pregnant. i know a lot of people who had to wait. neat.

but anyways. lol i all 4 of mine taken out two summers ago. i wasn't put to sleep either, only numbed. i only felt the shots in my gums, which i wont lie - kinda hurt. and i have a high pain tolerance. but it wasn't unbearable, just a hard pinch feeling in the gums. the worst part was the recovery for me. eating only soft foods. & feeling the stitches start to fall out after a week or so was weird. but it was not bad , AS LONG AS you stay on top of your meds. take your pain killers faithfully & on time, even if you think you wont need them, take them. because boy you will need them! lol

i also took my first pain killer as soon as i filled my script bc i didn't know how long i would be numb and i didn't want the numbness to go away and the pain to set in.

some people swell , but i didn't. luckily.

Going to the dentist about this same problem tomorrow! I have all but one wisdom tooth in and its killing me. I had to switch dentist offices because the other one wouldn't do it at all while I'm pregnant.

I have a high pain tolerance wasn't put to sleep for any of them the pain from the ache until the finally pulled them was worse
