I have to find someone around here who specialises in curls.

Last time I walked into a salon I asked the chick if there was anyone who cut curls. She looked at me like a d******* and replied with "I can, it's the same as cutting any hair. Curls and straight are all the same" with a look of pity on her face.

Needless to say I walked out.

Last I heard she was no longer there but I'm not going back. ?

The weight of mine is pulling the curls down. Can't say I like that part one bit ?

I'm definitely finding somewhere this week to get it chopped.

I need to wash it again and put some mousse, then I will see how long it is. I like to get a V cut, so she kept the length.

Our curls are fairly similar-mine are long and heavy right now and pulling the curls out as well. I normally keep mine just below my shoulders but they're below my bra strap now, so it's time for a trim!

We have the same hair. And I feel your pain about the hairdresser. I just broke up with mine after 5 years. And I don't know where I'm going to go now.

My hairdresser and I had a falling out Sol. She is a mates wife and got very nasty to him, myself and others. Apparently if she is miserable everyone had to be. Unfortunately it has cost her the marriage. Sad seeing they'd been together over 25 years ?

I joined a curly hair group on fb and am trying the treseme perfectly undone range atm. Silicon free is apparently the way to go. I also did a treatment of ultraorganics clear henna wax.

My mate is going to sew some towels for me using tshirt material and I'm getting satin pillow cases also to help try and tame the frizz.

Hopefully it all does the job. If not I'll keep reading up and trying until I find the right ones for me!

Curly hair isn't easy. My hair is only nice the day that I wash and style, then next day if I have to go out I have to wash again ?.

I didn't want to cut my hair, but the tips was so dry and was all tangled.

I deep conditioner once a week with argain oil (a cream) mask, after I wash. I put it in my hair little by little, then I make a shower cap with tin foil then I put a regular shower cap and I rinse a hour later.

I tried coconut oil, but my hair was so dry afterwards.

I just found a Loreal shampoo and conditioner with few kinds of oil on it, only shampooing made my hair so soft and after the conditioner it felt so good, I need to find the leave in conditioner.

I think I'll give the tin foil a go when I next treat it with the henna wax!

Hoping my tips aren't to dry. Generally they take an inch off. But if more is needed I'll roll with it for now.
