I have use the Madella hospital grade pump with five babies and plan to use it again. The only one that didn't cause soreness and pain and cracking and bleeding for me. I've done some research and it seems to have something to do with the way the suction works on the machine although I'm still not perfectly clear on it. it seems to make sense to me

I would highly recommend the spectra! Love it so much and its way quieter than the medela .. used it for 11 months ??

Didnt try any yet, but i reat A LOT and asked mommies here. Bad reviews on avent. I was going for spectra based on the reviews and the price but suddenly found a good deal on madela and i took it.

Medela is very good. I got one 2nd hand. Just ordered new parts for it with my 1st child. Haven’t tried the Avent one.

Thanks ladies! I’ve heard nothing but good reviews about the medela! I’ll have to take look at the spectra reviews as well!
