Croix
Thoughts on the name Croix.. Do you know any boys with this name?? I love the name Crew for a boy, and am starting to like Croix as well. It's not common at all where I'm from, so I'm just trying to see random thoughts and feelings on this name. Thanks! :)
Really?! My SIL took at least five years of French and has been to France quite a few times, and she pronounced it "Croy."
That is a perfect name combo! Love it!! :) What are people's reactions when they hear his name? Do you have a lot of people mispronounce it?
Thank you for your comment! It's crazy how names are popular in some areas, but not others. :) I would never say I made it up, because I certainly didn't.
I heard it a couple of years ago, and wasn't sure if I liked it until the last couple of months. I love it now!
Ladies!!! Can I block people on this app?! Got a crazy private message from someone who commented on this post (she deleted her comment).
She claimed I said "I invented Croix," and she said I got the name from her. ? I don't believe she ever commented on any of my own posts or polls, and if she did, it was a long time ago. I always try to thank everyone and be positive, but I don't notice who comments certain names on posts that aren't my own. Who has time for that?! Any help would be appreciated!!
@gina3111, I don't get what you are saying?? If you think I got the name Croix from you, you're wrong. Croix has been on my radar for the last two years, way before I joined this app.
Thanks ladies for all of your positive comments! I knew exactly how to pronounce it when I first heard it, and I have not had one ounce of French! I don't think it's too hard to figure out how to say it.. But I could be wrong. :) I still love Crew, but am going to add Croix to my list!
What's everyone got for boy names or had for boys names? I'm intrigued to know what names everyone has/had😊💙✨
yes I'm a single mom and yes my daughter is going to have my last name I refuse to give my daughter the name of a BOY who doesnt want to take care of his responsibilities! ....problem ?
I find out the sex of my baby on the 11th and I still haven't thought of a name in case of it being a boy😫😫😫
#anysuggestions ?? I want something unique
It's similar Leroy because Leroy comes for le roi which means "the king." Roi is pronounced "rwa" though not Roy.
I hope this helps.
