First prenatal??

Hi everyone! I'm 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my first baby and I have my first prenatal appointment in about 2 weeks. I'll be around 6 weeks pregnant can anyone tell me what to expect or at least what happened in your experience? Thank you!

At my doc, 6 weeks is just for blood confirmation of pregnancy. Pee in a cup, get blood drawn, meet with nurse to discuss birth control options after baby is born and for scheduling further doctor's appointments. Don't see doc until week 9 for dating ultrasound.

My doc schedules the first transvaginal midway through the sixth week to increase the chance of seeing the heartbeat. It's a RE, though, so they're also supervising for a safe pregnancy post fertility treatments and following up due to my previous MCs.

Aw man ? I'm hoping for an ultrasound haha but I know at 6 weeks it's not very likely to see anything. I guess I'll just have to try and be patient and see what happens!

Thank you doll! Congratulations to you as well! And I'm hoping my doctor does an ultrasound ? I worry about everything haha I feel like after that first ultrasound I can stress a little bit less!
