Your temps will remain high and above coverline , when u get your crosshairs , until af comes ! Then they will drop back down to pre ovulation temp range. That rise in temps today means that your egg has been released. You ovulated already. But u have to wait for 2 more temps in this higher range for it to be confirmed. Once confirmed , u will get crosshairs. Which are the red lines u see on other womens charts. The vertical line will show you where u ovulated at. The horizontal line is basically a visual tool to help you see your biphasic temp shift which means ovulation took place. Your temps shouldnt go below that until af is near or showing up that day !

Women havr short surges or long surges. It doesnt really matter how long or short. But it does havr sonething to do with how long our opks stay positive ! A short surge , your opk wont stay positivr that long. A long one.. It can last days.

My surge was short? How long is it usually?? My temp should stay high right?

I usually have two full days of positives and its even positive on the third day but it fades back to negative then !! Looking at your chart.. Yesterday was ovulation. Seems like your surge was short.. Your positive may be gone later today or tomorrow. Nice rise !!! Baby dust !!
