I've had it in for a year and a half already was wondering if the symptoms I've had since I've had I placed was normal.... no period for a year now, nausea, hot flashes, low sex drive

I had the IUD to and had to get it removed from side effects, then had the IUD crash witch was worse lasted three weeks

Just tell them that ur current IUD is giving u a lot of unwanted side effects, so u would really like to remove it & possibly try the non hormonal/copper IUD instead.

That's Probably what I would go with, but how would I tell my ob I wanna get my iud removed

Yea, the copper IUD is completely non hormonal. So, it won’t mess with ur hormones at all.

I've Heard The Copper IUD Was Better Hormone wise anyways

Pregnancy/Pms-like symptoms are normal side effects of any hormonal birth control. It just depends on how ur body reacts & adjusts to a certain birth control. So, if ur wanting to have Mirena removed, but still be on birth control, then u could try a different IUD or a different method altogether.
