I'm 2 Weeks Postpartum Had A C Section I'm A FTM And Was Wondering If This Little Pouch Of Fat Will Go Away?
I had the same thing after my csection and it's something no one warned me about. So It kind of freaked me out. If felt like my postpartum belly almost looked like a shelf ? But it did go away. I breastfed and started exercising around month 3. I know everyone is different but don't worry too much about it. It takes time but for many, it does go away or is drastically reduced.
it goes away for some people. I've had two and I'm not one of them lol but I know some c section mommies with completely flat stomachs. I also didn't work out or wear my band as often as I should have
Imo it will never go away, wearing a body retainer or not. I had my son 4 years ago and still have it.
Spanx and wear a pregnancy girdle. it'll hurt at first but it's what pushes your muscles back so the pouch goes away
i used am abdominal binder the day i left the hospital and my stomach was back flat like 4 days later. I still wore it for about 3 weeks though

Yes After My C Section They Still Did The Painful Pushing On My Uterus, I'll Hopefully Be able To work Out After My 6 Week Appointment
I didn't have a c section and my pouch never went away even when I was super skinny down to the bones it was there. There are procedures you can try this days without surgery like freezing or sonobello.
@timikah I can assure you they still push on your uterus regardless of csection or vaginal birth (I would rather jump in front of a car than have another nurse come at me to "check my uterus" ?)
The scaring from the csection can cause a lip of extra skin/fat like that to hang a bit. Not much you can do. BUT your so dang early in the postpartum period you have no clue where you'll end up!! Don't worry about it now.
U can start exercizing after 6 weeks. I had a pouch with my first c section, it went away with healthy eating, lots of exercise (pilates and strenght training) and a waist trainer. I have a pouch now again and plan to do the same. Give it time! It can take some time! Some people even get pouches with vaginal birth.
I don't think the pouch will exactly just go away because you had a c-section. It's different from having a vaginal birth, after you give birth they push down on your stomach (it hurts like hell) they can't do that with a c-section because they could cause your stitches to come out...now some people get lucky...but don't stress it hell everyone knows you've had a baby!
Also, no exercising until your doctor clears you at your 6 week appointment. Even then, no abdominal workouts for a few months
Some women have abdominal muscle separation after birth I'm not saying that's your case but my belly looked the same and no matter all the exercise and diet and pre pregnancy weight I always had that pouch. My only solution is a tummy tuck.
I kept my pouch of fat even 2 years after my c section even when I got down to my pre pregnancy weight it was still there
