Over production?
My DS is 6 weeks old and eats 4 oz. per feeding every 3 hours. When I pump I'm getting about 4-5 oz. per breast. Is this too much? How much are you all getting?

how much formula does ya babies drink? mine is 2 months and was drinking 4 oz. Dr said 4 oz every 2 or 3 hrs was a lot . that I needed to cut back

How often do you pump? My baby eats every 3 hrs or so, except at night, when she will go 6 or 7 hours. I have to get up and pump every Morning at about 3:30 am and get anywhere from 4-8 oz. usually also have to pump several times a day to relieve pressure and get about 3-4 oz in about 5 min. I've tried cabbage leaves and block feeding to reduce supply, but hasn't worked much yet. Trying to reduce pumping but I get painfully engorged if I don't. :(
