My water never broke with my son. I had to be induced and the doctors broke it. If you feel as though you may be leaking fluid, even if you think it could be pee, I would call your doctor. They will check it to make sure it isn't your water breaking. Any amount of fluid loss could result in negative effects on the baby if it is your water breaking. As you are overdue, I'd get checked asap

Thanks i think I'm gonna run in to check cause I have had bladder accidents before when he presses on my bladder but never anything like what I just went through it was a lot more fluid then any other time just then so better safe then sorry ...

I had contractions for a few hours, then my waters broke. It came in gushes for a few hours. I wore a maternity pad till I got to the hospital. If you are feeling gushes of fluid I would say it's your waters! Very exciting, baby is almost here!! Xx

I was one of the lucky few that my water broke all in a big gush so there was no doubt! I'm a FTM too

According to my doctors I actually had two bags of water. My first broke at home and it was what prompted us to head to the hospital. Small, and slow. We got to the hospital and waited for what felt like forever and when I didn't progress on my own they hooked me up to pitocin. And after about 30 hours they decided to double check that my water had broke. Sure enough there was another bag of water. So they broke that and I had my daughter two hours later.

My water did not break on its own... contractions started early Friday morning, I went to the hospital, was sent home for the day (contractions were too far apart), went back around 8pm, they broke my water when I was around 5-6cm as I had stopped progressing (early Saturday morning) and my munchkin was born 8:50am Saturday.

With my first my water broke at home while I was in the shower and it wasn't a pop just a leak that would gush out if I sneezed or stood up. Contractions didn't start for hours later. With my second contractions came first then they had to break my water in to hospital after I was farther along.

Turned out to be my water breaking went in 4:30 am and had him at 8:23 pm pretty long labour but he is worth every struggle I went through ?❤️
