Stress can definitely cause your period to delay. Ive had mine 6-7 days late before due to stress

I was on the mini-pill for over a year, and never got a period. Then suddenly I started getting it, and still have no idea why. I ended up switching to another pill. Maybe you are having the opposite problem lol. Good luck!
