Update: It was awesome! We totally hit it off. We talked for 2 hours about anything and everything. Turned out way better than expected, even with my social awkwardness. Super excited to get together with our kids.

Will the kids be there? I always find it a lot less awkward first meeting another mom when kids are around. I have the app too, but haven’t let anyone yet. I’ve briefly chatted, but no mom-date yet. I call it “mom tinder.”

I have peanut, too! But so far no luck meeting anyone. I’m super socially awkward so I always talk about my kid. Don’t stress about it. Easier said than done I realize ? Ask lots of questions, act like you genuinely care about her answers and you’ll probably have a friend for life.
