Professional dress. Make the effort. You never want to be too casual. This is the first time they're laying eyes on you. You want to make a good impression.

Definitely professional. I see people stop by my job to drop applications or take a tour and the staff always notice and judge what they show up in, no matter how impromptu or casual the reason they are coming in is.

I would say not jeans. A nice shirt, skirt or dark pants. Flats or high heels
