Plate is for size reference! Food is dumped in portions on his tray until he's done eating.
He flips plates if set in front of him.
My son doesn't eat that much but he can eat like a piece of toast half a banana and some blueberries for breakfast. When he starts throwing it on the floor he's done
Geez! I thought I was majorly overfeeding this kid, especially when people post photos in other forums with a handful of grapes, chunks of cheese, and some cherry tomatoes as their 3 year old's lunch, and everyone says, "I wish my kid would eat that much!"
I'm feeling a bit better now, thank you! We're slowly adding in meat because it caused some major constipation last time... maybe we'll try actual solid meat soon.
That's my sons favourite too! Add some chicken and he will almost always eat more than my 6 year old. We do toast/pancakes/eggs and fruit for breakfasts, lunch is lots of veggies and fruits and supper is whatever we are eating. And usually a snack in the afternoon. He also nurses 5 times a day and twice at night.
Lol my son also gets a couple pieces at a time we tried suction bowls but he can rip those off
