I suck at diaper sizing. Would you go up a size based on how this looks?

My lo has been im fives for a couple months and hes definitely mot 30.lbs. just depends on rhe baby.

Snarf, the tabs are actually only just snug. He has reflux, so we keep his diapers a little loose.

He's short for his weight, which might be why it looks too high, maybe?

Imo these look tight only because how far you pulled the tabs. I actually think this is too big of a diaper (it goes up way too high) and the tabs are just too tight.

I think they look like they fit pretty well but it doesn't look like he will be in them long.

It could just be his stature. Every baby is shaped differently. Just like an adult who weighs 150 could wear the same size as someone who is 120, depending on their height and where there weight sits. Dd has been in size 4 in pampers for a couple months now because her thighs were too chunky for size 3s.

We always size up 1 size in Luvs. I'd size up.

So, do Luvs run really small or does my LO just have a super chunky tummy? He's only around 19 lbs. Size 4 says 22 lbs+ and he's nearly outgrown them. Size 5 says 27+.

I would return the box you just bought and go a size up.

I think he might grow out of them before you get through the box so I would go up a size. Just because I think that the closer the tabs are, the more secure it is and it looks like the tabs are almost to the edge of the diaper.
