Screaming toddler How to you get them to stop the screeching and screaming that literally make your eardrums ring?!? Ds is 18 month old and when he gets mad he screams and screeches so loud it's mentally draining and eardrum ringing!! I try to redirect him, walking away, telling him calmly we don't yell, talking to him. Nothing works

Mine squeals when he's happy now. It's cute, like he's figuring out what his voice can do. It's funny how all our babies start doing things at the exact same time.

Babies who just finished leap 3 now can play with different volumes of their voices. I love listening to Charlotte "talking" to herself on the baby monitor when she wakes up

Lol! That's exactly what we call Owen! A pterodactyl! He squeals a loud high pitched scream. If he's happy, sad, mad, glad apparently it's a perfect sound for all emotions.
