How much vinegar? Ladies who have said they use vinegar in a load of towels, how much do u use?

Yes on all my things i wash even clothes. I let the water run a min then dump in my vinegar straight in the water then soap then add clothes then put my Downey ball in there with the softener shut the lid and walk away.

Breaks down body oils and sweat makes clothes smell nicer and look brighter. And makes towels fluffy and soft.

And I got stumped as to where I put it? In the despenser or right in the barrel with the towels??

I use about a half cup. I have an old washer, so it's not a high capacity.

What kind of vinegar? The type you put on chips...

1 cup. It breaks down body oils and soap residue and helps your clothes (especially towels and sheets) stay fresh longer.

I add a cup for a regular load, 2 cups for a large.

Eta: Yes even on clothes. You can even run an empty load and it will sanitize your washer.

Also: It makes your towels fluffy again.
