let's talk baby rooms!!
I am really wondering when or if you girls are going to move their snuggle bug to their rooms and with what method?
I was originally planning on not moving my son into his own room until 6 months but ended up doing it about a week ago! Honestly, it's been shockingly easy. We were using a combo of swing/bassinet before but he's been pretty good in the crib already. We still have the swing out and use it occasionally in the morning when he wakes up too early. The biggest thing we found that works for him is when putting him down we always sign him the same song and if he doesn't go down right away and starts crying then I go in immediately and put his soother in and sing a song. If we try and let him cry it out he just gets worked up and the whole situation takes way longer. Also, if he doesn't go down within 10 mins or so then I'll get him back up. Sometimes I read the signs wrong and what looks like sleepy is just hungry/bored/lonely. Whatever you decide, good luck! And my guy was waking up 2-3 times a night as well until he hit the 3 month mark. Now it's only once a night!!!
Delivery room
Who all are you having in the room with you while giving birth?

Delivery room
Hey ladies, who will be in the delivery room with you?
With my daughter, she slept in the swing next to me until she was 3 months and the day she turned 3 months we put her in the crib and she slept all night. She was still in our room though and never used a paci. She was such an easy baby. ?
My son, however, is another story. He’s a fatty. Some nights he’ll wake up to eat and some he doesn’t but he sleeps pretty well in the same swing right next to me just like my daughter. We’re moving at the end of the month and he will start to sleep in the crib then, just like we did with Mila but I feel like it’s going to be a disaster. ?
He has to be swaddled to sleep well though and he does sometimes need the paci to soothe him. But once he spits it out he doesn’t wake at all.
We went to Reno over New Years and he had to sleep in the bassinet because the swing is too big to travel with and he was waking up 2-3 times a night because it wasn’t rocking him like the swing does. So it’s def going to be an adjustment but you just have to stick to it and be consistent.
Don’t be too nervous about it!
